Financial Aid Guidance That Makes Sense For Every Family

Financial aid is complicated. I help you understand it, navigate it, and make the most of it — no matter where you're starting from.

Accessible College Aid Solutions teaches students and families the tools, language, and knowledge to navigate a process that wasn’t built with them in mind.

College and university financial aid processes weren’t designed with your family in mind.

They were built by bureaucrats and written by lawyers – and it shows.

The college financial aid process is complicated, inconsistent, and too often feels incredibly frustrating.

But behind every form, every deadline, and every award letter is a real person making real decisions about their future.

That’s the heart of my work. Not just helping you check the right boxes, but making sure you understand why.

You’ll leave every conversation feeling more informed, more confident, and more capable than when you walked in. College financial aid guidance is never one-size-fits-all. At Accessible College Aid Solutions, I build every decision around your actual financial situation, your life circumstances, and your goals.

I don’t want to make you dependent on my services. Instead, I want to hand you the tools, the language, and the knowledge to navigate this system yourself, every single year. Long after we finish working together, you’ll know exactly what you’re entitled to, where to find the answers you need, and exactly who to talk to at your school to get the financial aid support you need.

Knowledge is power, and I’m here to help you find yours.

Hi, I’m Mo Dyson.

A military veteran, adult college graduate, and college financial aid support expert.

I fell into this work the hard way. After a career in the military, I started my higher education journey with years of life experience under my belt. Yet I was still met with a frustrating and confusing financial aid system that wasn’t designed to support students at any point in the journey.

As I worked my way through the process, I realized there was no guidance for me – a veteran and adult college student. I literally had to create the trail I was blazing.

After experiencing setbacks due to miscommunication and delayed VA benefits, I set out to change how people approach a frustrating and confusing college financial aid process.

Since then, I’ve worked inside college financial aid offices, designed and led financial aid programs for admissions consulting firms, and became an advocate for college students and their families across the country.

Although I work with students from all backgrounds and demographics, I specialize in supporting first-generation, low-income, and military-affiliated students. After being that student with a non-traditional background, I know how confusing and isolating the college financial aid system can be. My goal is to ensure that no other student ever feels as lost in the system as I did by empowering them to gain access to the education they deserve.

I go beyond generic college-prep checklists to deliver real financial aid support

Whether you need one focused conversation or one-on-one guidance through every stage of the college financial aid process, the Accessible College Aid Solutions approach is built around your actual circumstances.

My expertise isn’t just what makes this approach work. It’s my perspective.

I’ve experienced this failing system firsthand as a student, then again as a professional working inside it. I know exactly where the gaps are, who gets overlooked, and how to make the process work for people it was never designed to help in the first place.

When we're done, you'll have the tools and information to navigate whatever comes next. That's what I call a win.

The Single Session

Sometimes, you don’t need full one-on-one support. Sometimes, you just need a real answer from someone who knows what they’re talking about.

The Single Session is one focused session built around whatever financial aid question, problem, or decision is on your plate right now.

Whether you’re staring down a confusing award letter, unsure what a verification request means, or just need an expert opinion before you make a move, the Single Session is where you’ll get clarity without a long-term commitment.

One hour. Your question. Straight answers.

The Early Start

Not everyone is ready to apply. That’s not a setback, it’s just where you are right now.

The Early Start is designed for students and families who are a year or so out from the application process. This is ideal for students who are waiting for the right time to apply, to reach the minimum age, or to meet the educational requirements for the program of their dreams.

It’s your chance to get ahead of the process, understand what’s coming, and put the pieces in the right place before the deadlines start rolling in.

Less scrambling later starts with smart preparation now.

Guided Support

Designed for clients who want an expert to check their work at key moments.

We'll review your completed application and required documents together, answer the questions that come up around these inflection points, and make sure you're aware of all pertinent funding resources.

This tier isn't a full hand-off, and it isn't meant to be. It’s a second set of eyes from an expert, exactly when you need them.

The Accessible Commitment

Financial aid can be straightforward, or it can turn out to have more layers and steps than you expected going in; if you’re in the latter category, you’ll want all the help you can get.

The Accessible Commitment is full support through your entire financial aid app season. We'll walk through your application together, and when it's time to submit documents through the school portal, I'll be there to handle that with you.
Questions don't wait for a scheduled session — you'll have ongoing availability throughout your app season, with reasonable response times built around where you are in the process. If an aid offer comes back that doesn't reflect your actual situation, appeal support is available, all the way through your May 1 decision deadline.

This is hands-on, full-cycle guidance and tailored resources that will help you become more confident in the process.

One advisor, one relationship, all the way to your decision.
